Venice is blessed with more than a dozen miles of pristine beaches, but you will only find a handful of residential communities where you truly can get the full beachfront living experience, and the Gulf Shores condominium tower is one of them. Being able to acquire a Gulf Shores unit will always be a great investment because chances of the Venice beachfront being re-zoned for more residential sections are pretty slim.
The Gulf Shores condominium is located just north of the main section of the main section of Venice Beach, which includes the scenic pier and well-known landmarks such as Sharky’s. Residents of this community enjoy sweeping and unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico; plus, they have two private access points to the beach. Gulf Shores is not an imposing condo tower; it is a mid-rise building where you can enjoy great views from just about any floor.
By virtue of having been developed in the mid-1970s, Gulf Shores is not the type of condominium where the units are the size of a matchbox. The two-bedroom floor plans feature two bathrooms and are built on 1,340 square feet of interior. All units have large balconies where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico; views from bedroom windows are available in some units.
As can be expected, residents of Gulf Shores spend a lot of time at the beach. In addition to the two private beach access points, there are showers, volleyball nets, and picnic tables. The condominium features a clubhouse, a swimming pool, and an outdoor lounge. The condo association fees are far more reasonable than the fees at inland Sarasota gated communities located far from the beach. Real estate investors will be pleased to know that units can be rented on three-month lease contracts more than once a year.
Living at Gulf Shores means not having to go far for shopping, dining, or entertainment. The Historic Downtown Venice district is close enough for a bike ride, and the same goes for the Publix supermarket at the Venice Shopping Center near Venezia Park.
