Golden Beach is a small neighborhood with a laid-back atmosphere. You will not find tourists crowding the beach because a small bayou separates it from the larger section of Venice Public Beach. The mature trees and tropical landscaping provide neighbors with privacy even though the community is just a bike ride from the main tourism district of Venice. When you need to go for grocery shopping runs, a short drive to the Publix supermarket on the Tamiami Trail will take you about five minutes, and you will also find other suburban comforts such as a Beall’s store, hair salons, cafes, and pubs that serve gourmet burgers on the grill.
