Located in the southern section of the Venice Gardens district, the Jacaranda West Venice is a well-established community that can easily be described as one of the best places to live in Southwest Florida. Shortly after this golf community was completed in the 1960s, it became known as Venice’s executive neighborhood because some of its wealthy seasonal residents used to land their private jets at the nearby municipal airport a weekend of tennis, golf, and trips to the beach.

Even if you don’t opt for a country club membership, you still have nearby attractions such as the Venice YMCA, which is just a few minutes north, and Woodmere Park to the south. Caspersen Beach, one of the most pristine stretches of coastline in Sarasota County, is less than five miles away, and there is a dog-friendly beach on the way there. With regard to shopping and dining, you will find supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants along Center Road, which is on the northern boundary of the community.
