Indigo at Lakewood Ranch : Homes for Sale in a Gated Community

Florida home builder Neal Communities is known for its extensive work in the Lakewood Ranch master-planned development in Manatee County. Indigo is one of the most recent villages of Lakewood Ranch, and Neal Communities is making sure that this neighborhood is among the best places to live in the Southwest Florida region.

Indigo is a gated community located in the northern section of Lakewood Ranch, not far from Central Park.  This is a large subdivision of 453 single-family homes, and it is being developed with families and active seniors in mind.  Home buyers who are interested in new construction properties will be pleased to learn that development at Indigo started in May 2015 with an initial phase of 100 homes.

As of mid-2015, Neal Communities offered five floor plans at Indigo; all of them feature three bedrooms, a garage for two cars, and at least two bathrooms.  The Valiant model measures 1,407 square feet of living space and is ideal for small families; the largest floor plan is the Victory, which features an interior of 1,764 square feet.  These floor plans are designed to evoke the look of modern Mediterranean residential architecture.

Current pricing at Indigo starts under $260K, but home values are expected to appreciate quickly in this neighborhood.  Neal Communities has added amenities such as a swimming pool, a modern gym and bocce ball courts.  As in other Lakewood Ranch villages, a significant portion of Indigo has been set aside as nature preserve for the enjoyment of residents.

Indigo residents enjoy the advantage of living in a neighborhood with a great location.  As a family-friendly community, Indigo is close to public schools, churches and attractions such as Lake Manatee State Park.  Golf courses and athletic fields are also nearby, and Bradenton Beach is about 30 minutes away.
