When Centex Homes started construction of some River Pointe sections in the 1990s, the Mediterranean style of residential architecture became predominant. These days, house hunters can choose from the spectacular mansions of Hawk Island to the more modest and affordable single-family homes located closer to Manatee Avenue.
In mid 2025, home buyers can expect to see three-bedroom and two-bathroom listings starting at $470K in River Pointe. As long as sellers agree to keep a handful of properties on the market at the same time, prospective buyers can expect to find great prices; however, this could quickly change later in the year as other waterfront neighborhoods in Southwest Florida experience lower inventories.
