Tara is a neighborhood where you can find real estate opportunities ranging from low-rise condominium units to golf villas and from modest single-family homes to three-bedroom estates with private swimming pools.

With nearly 2,000 residential properties arranged in various sections, you can always count on finding available listings at Tara. In mid-2019, older paired villas with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms can be found listed under $150K, and this includes golf membership. If you are looking for more space and privacy, $250K will get you a remodeled three-bedroom home with two bathrooms and a two-car garage plus a golf course membership. If a golf estate is what you are after, you can find a three-bedroom property complete with a private swimming pool, marble countertops, upgraded appliances, and a breakfast nook overlooking a nature preserve for less than $500K.

A golf membership at Tara gets you full access to all the amenities, including the 18-hole course, resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts, hot tub, steam room, and clubhouse; if you do not play golf or have membership elsewhere, you can opt for a social membership that allows you to enjoy all amenities except the course. Annual homeowners association fees vary across sections, but they all include maintenance, cable television and broadband internet access.

Tara is conveniently located near State Road 70, which means that residents can drive just a few minutes to find the Publix supermarket at Twelve Oaks Plaza. Other nearby suburban comforts include: Starbucks, Lowe’s, Bealls, Supercuts, and Dollar Tree. The Jiggs Landing Park at Ward Lake offers a fishing pier, canoe launch, picnic areas, and nature trails. You can drive to the beaches of Siesta Key or Longboat Key in less than 40 minutes, but Bradenton Beach is a closer option.
