The Palmetto housing market is mostly known for its residential subdivision and gated communities of single-family residences. In recent years, new multifamily and condominium projects along the Manatee River have been added to the real estate mix, and this may explain why Terra Ceia Bay Club in Palmetto has been getting more attention from home buyers.

The Terra Ceia Bay Club condominium neighborhood has been around since the 1990s; it was one of the first in Palmetto to offer units in mid and high-rise towers, and it is also part of the Terra Ceia Country Club, one of the most attractive options for golf and tennis players in Palmetto. This neighborhood is north of the Historic District and just blocks away from the shores of Terra Ceia Bay, which means that some lucky home buyers will be able to score listings with nice water views.

Even though this is a fairly large neighborhood, you will only find about a dozen properties listed every month, and there are a couple of reasons why you will not see many available properties. First of all, this is one of the few places in Manatee County where you will find a two-bedroom condo with two full bathrooms listed for less than $150K. Second, the golf and country club membership is not only priced very reasonably but also offers lots of amenities.

If you are in the market for spectacular properties, you can certainly find them in the Terra Ceia Bay Club. The newer towers located closer to the water offer dramatic views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balconies and master bedrooms. In late 2019, a $495K unit offered three bedrooms, two bathrooms, hardwood flooring, his-and-hers vanities in the master bath, French doors, a designer kitchen, and even a home office.

As for the amenities, they begin with the 18-hole golf course, pro shop, clubhouse with restaurant, swimming pool complete with a tiki bar, and tennis courts. There is also a private fishing pier where you can enjoy sunsets. Your nearest Publix supermarket is just a short drive away in the Historic District of Palmetto, and driving to Holmes Beach will take you about 40 minutes.
