This is one of the first development projects initiated by M/I Homes in Southwest Florida; it began slowly in the aftermath of the real estate downturn of 2008, and it continued through 2013. As its name suggests, Creekside Preserve in Parrish is a neighborhood surrounded by nature areas; it is an established gated community where many homes overlook ponds and forest patches. As of October 2019, prices started under $260K for homes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and garages with two parking spaces.
When you consider all that Creekside Preserve has to offer, it is easy to realize that properties here are all set for value appreciation. M/I Homes is an award-winning national home builder known for its elegant neighborhoods, and this is something that is evident the moment you drive past the gate on Highway 301, not far from the Parkwood Square shopping center. In this pretty neighborhood you will find more than just elegant properties built in a mix of Mediterranean revival and Key West home styles; there is also a basketball court, a playground, nature trails, and plenty of green areas.
For the most part, floor plans at Creekside Preserve offer at least 1,700 square feet of living space on lots that measure more than 6,100 square feet. The largest models offer up to five bedrooms built on two-story structures. Naturally, the homes with lake views tend to sell faster, but this is large neighborhood where you can expect a couple of listings coming on the market each week. You really have to tour one of these properties to see the quality construction of M/I Homes.
At Creekside Preserve, residents have shopping options well beyond the Publix supermarket at Parkwood Square. For serious shopping and family entertainment, you can always drive less than 10 minutes west to the Ellenton Premium Outlets, and you will never have to deal with Bradenton traffic. The beaches of Anna Maria Island will be waiting for you every weekend since they are about 30 minutes away.
