The Town of Palmetto has gone through a substantial phase of development in 2017 thanks to renowned builders such as Maronda Homes and new communities such as Heron Creek. This small neighborhood of 90 single-family residences is located in the northwest corner of the I-75 and I-275 intersection, which means that residents have easy access to Bradenton, Sarasota and the Tampa Bay region.
Maronda Homes brings more than four decades of experience in developing residential projects around the country; Heron Creek is the first in Southwest Florida. There are more than 10 stylish home models to choose from; the architectural design is consistent with other gated communities in Manatee County, and some of the features include open floor plans with gourmet kitchens, split bedrooms and walk-in closets.
Heron Creek is a good neighborhood for first-time home buyers interested in new residences that offer more space than what is typically offered closer to Bradenton. The Avella model, for example, offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms built on 1,443 square feet under air conditioning. Pricing starts around $285K; families who require more living space can expect to find a four-bedroom home with more than 2,000 square feet of living space for just $290K. All lots feature tropical landscaping, and many homes offer views of creeks and ponds.
Heron Creek is conveniently located nearby public and charter schools. There is no need to travel across the Manatee River for shopping; the Ellenton Premium Outlets and the Silver Leaf center are just a short drive away. Heron Creek is also near the Terra Ceia Preserve State Park, which is filled with mangroves and Florida wildlife. Driving to Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island takes less than 40 minutes.
