Development and completion of Cross Creek in Parrish took longer than expected, but it was certainly worth the wait for patient home buyers. To a certain extent, Cross Creek is still under construction because you can find a few homes completed in 2019; quite a few others were finished in recent years and are still under the warranty provided by Medallion Home. As is the case with Parrish neighborhoods located further east, Cross Creek offers single-family homes with more space and extras than what you would normally find closer to Downtown Bradenton.
Located about nine miles east of I-75, near the northeast corner of the River Wilderness Country Club, Cross Creek is a discrete community surrounded by lakes and forest preserves. The main access road extends from the intersection of Old Tampa Road and Fort Hamer Road, about two miles north of the new Fort Hamer Bridge. If you are looking for a place that feels secluded without actually being isolated, Cross Creek deserves your attention.
The floor plans selected by Medallion Home in Cross Creek sport a fresh look. Instead of going for the established Mediterranean revival style that has become predominant in Manatee County, Medallion Home opted for new designs that look like luxury villas in the Caribbean. In late 2019, prices started at just $275K for a three-bedroom home with two bathrooms and 1,595 square feet of interior; this was an excellent deal when considering that it was completed in 2017. Buyers looking for even more space and extras have options such as a four-bedroom estate with 2.5 bathrooms, a covered swimming pool and a very nice view of a pond for less than $455K.
The features you can expect at Cross Creek include quartz countertops, a designer kitchen, master bathrooms with garden tubs and separate shower rooms, covered lanais, energy-efficient appliances, and more. You also have access to a community swimming pool, a basketball court, a dog park, playground, and nature trails. Cross Creek is equidistant to the Silver Leaf and Parkwood Square shopping centers along Highway 301; both take about six minutes to drive to. Living 20 miles away from Holmes Beach means that you can visit every weekend.
