Harrison Ranch is a planned community developed by national builder Pulte Homes. Instead of following the familiar formula of building imposing estates in Parrish, Pulte Homes opted to apply a bit of modesty along with great amenities and affordable prices.
There are two residential subdivisions at Harrison Ranch: The Reserve and The Cove. Both sections offer a nice collection of single-family homes built with a unique take on the Mediterranean revival style. The floor plans range from 1,674 to more than 3,000 square feet of living space. Pulte Homes offered early buyers a diversity of choice in terms of floor plans; some of the largest homes have four bedrooms that can be converted to six sleeping chambers for large families.
Pricing at Harrison Ranch is very comfortable. A two-bedroom and two-bathroom home that was converted to four bedrooms after 2009 was listed for just $212K in mid-2016, and this is a home that enjoys a great view of the lake. Home shoppers looking for more space may be interested in a two-story, four-bedroom and three bathroom home built in 2016 and listed below $362K; this is a floor plan that can be easily turned into a six-bedroom home.
Residents of Harrison Ranch can walk all around this large neighborhood on a network of nature trails that cut across forest preserves. There’s also a swimming pool, a gym, tennis courts, rec center, and playground. Two golf courses are located to the northeast, and three state parks are about 15 minutes away.
Harrison Ranch is on the western edge of Parrish, which means that it is closer to Downtown Bradenton and the beaches of Anna Maria Island. The closest shopping center with Publix supermarket is right across the road from the southern entrance.
