Lakeside Preserve in Parrish : Spacious Homes for Sale w/ Large Lots

As we head into the year 2020, some of the best real estate deals you can find in Southwest Florida are located north of the Manatee River, specifically in Parrish. A few years ago, Parrish was mostly known for its equestrian neighborhoods; these days, it is is considered to be one of the most family-friendly districts of Manatee County. Home buyers who focus on Parrish are usually in search of larger lot sizes and interior at prices that are more affordable than Bradenton, and this is exactly what you can find at Lakeside Preserve.

Located near Fort Hamer Road and Highway 301, Lakeside Preserve was developed from 2006 to 2011; this is a deed-restricted community with reasonable homeowners association fees that cover maintenance of the playground and various green areas. Most of the home sites are about a quarter of an acre, and the single-family properties offer interior spaces ranging from 1,400 to 3,900 square feet.

The predominant architectural style at Lakeside Preserve is Mediterranean revival. As of October 2019, a three-bedroom home with two full bathrooms was listed for less than $260K. Even though this is a fairly large neighborhood where property values have quickly appreciated in recent years, only a handful of available listings come on the market at once. A 2010 home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms was recently listed for $285K, a very attractive price point for home buyers with large families.

Golf enthusiasts and lovers of the outdoors will find that Lakeside Preserve is very close to attractions such as the Buffalo Creek and River Wilderness Country Club, Lake Parrish, Lake Manatee State Park, and the Terra Ceia Preserve. The nearest YMCA is just a few blocks north, and neighborhood conveniences include Dollar General and the Brown’s Grove Farm Market just south of the Florida Railroad Museum. The Shops at Silver Leaf feature a new Publix supermarket, a Mexican restaurant, a pizzeria, and a couple of banks. The beaches of Anna Maria Island are less than an hour away.
