Lexington Parrish was one of the first residential projects aimed to transform Parrish from an exurb of equestrian communities into a nice suburb. There is a lot to like in Lexington. Residents enjoy living in a neighborhood where 75 acres are kept as nature preserves, and there are nice touches such as a fishing pier, walking trails around the lakes, a community center with a large swimming pool, a playground, and a couple of basketball courts. Lexington is conveniently located near the Parrish YMCA, which is where a new downtown district is located. If you are into weekend trips to the beach, driving to Anna Maria Island will take you less than an hour. As for shopping, you are all set with the newer Publix supermarket at Silver Leaf, not far from the main gate of Lexington.
