Located to the northeast of Bradenton, Silverleaf in Parrish is a gated community developed by renowned home builder Neal Communities in 2015. The single-family homes in this neighborhood are built on large lots, and they feature 17 different floor plans that range between 1,305 and 2,914 square feet of living space. The architectural design is inspired by the Mediterranean and Key West styles, and the neighborhood amenities make it an ideal place to raise a family.

Pricing in Silverleaf starts at $229K for a two-bedroom home with two full bathrooms. A four-bedroom home with two bathrooms was listed under $313K in February 2018. All homes have covered lanais to enjoy views of the lakes or nature preserve. Depending on the floor plan, you may find a den located next to the foyer, a pantry that connects to the laundry room, and a dining room with a panoramic window.

The amenities at Silverleaf include: a large swimming pool with an attached exercise center, clubhouse, dog park, playground, nature trails, and a covered picnic area.

One very attractive aspect of this community is that it is located next to The Shops at Silver Leaf, a new commercial plaza anchored by a Publix supermarket. A portion of the neighborhood is zoned for commercial development, which means that residents will likely enjoy convenience stores in the near future. Even more shopping can be found at the nearby Ellenton Outlet Mall, located about two miles away.

Thanks to the opening of the Fort Hamer Bridge connecting the town of Parrish with Lakewood Ranch, interest in gated communities such as Silverleaf has been rising along with property values. Before the bridge was completed, this section of Manatee County felt a bit isolated; that is no longer the case since residents can drive across the Manatee River and reach Lakewood Ranch in minutes. The beaches of Anna Maria island are close enough to visit every weekend.
