In 2016, when national home builder Neal Communities broke ground in Silverleaf, the new Fort Hamer Bridge over the Manatee River was still about a year away from completion, but this particular project resulted in a wave of residential development across Parrish. Silverleaf set the bar for new Parrish neighborhoods in terms of stylish floor plans and amenities; if you are looking to purchase a home that will provide you with nice value appreciation, this is great a great place to start your search.

Silverleaf is a large gated community with an ambiance similar to a Lakewood Ranch village but with greater architectural diversity. The initial phase offered 17 floor plans with designs that combined elements of Caribbean, Key West, and Mediterranean revival styles. Home buyers searching for modest homes will find two-bedroom paired villas with two bathrooms and a private garage listed for as low as $230K in late 2019, and even three-bedroom models built on more than 1,500 square feet of interior are being offered under $270K.

The expansive amenities and the Caribbean-inspired architecture make Silverleaf feel like a resort. The large swimming pools includes a spa and clubhouse that doubles as a community center. You can find modern exercise equipment at the gym, and there are also nature trails plus a basketball court to enjoy. Families can invite guests to enjoy sunny days at the barbecue pavilion, playground, and dog park.

On top of great home models and amenities, Silverleaf residents also enjoy a great location. The Shops at Silver Leaf, a new shopping center located within walking distance of the neighborhood’s main access road, features a Publix supermarket, a Verizon store, two banks, a pizzeria, and a Mexican restaurant. The Florida Railroad Museum, a nice attraction for children, is just seven minutes away, and you can always drive to the beaches of Anna Maria Island in less than an hour.
