One of the most interesting residential projects in northern Manatee County broke ground three years ago on the shores of Lake Trevesta, which is located south of 69th Street and just east of I-75. Trevesta Palmetto is a master-planned community that has thus far been developed by renowned home builders such as Inland Homes, the Pulte Group, and David Weekly Homes. What home buyers should keep in mind about Trevesta is that it has been designed as a new lifestyle concept in Palmetto, one that includes resort-like amenities plus future development of commercial space.
The Trevesta lifestyle experience can be felt as soon as you cross the main gate and enter the community. The cookie-cutter architectural effect has been prevented with a variety of floor plans inspired by Caribbean, Mediterranean, Tuscan, and even American Craftsman styles. The Pulte Group alone has selected nine floor plans with more than one elevation.
As of mid 2025, house hunters have a lot to choose from in Trevesta Palmetto. Prices start just below $325K for a three bedroom and two bathroom home. Prices start around $435K for a four-bedroom house with a living space measuring 1,924 square feet. You have to tour this neighborhood to witness the high level of curb appeal and all the thoughtful details that the builders are putting into each home. Some models look like designer homes, and the units that face Lake Trevesta get a very nice water view from covered lanais. Latest pricing at Trevesta Palmetto Florida will be found below if there is inventory.
The community center at Trevesta can easily compete against luxury resorts in the Caribbean. The large swimming pool is next to a large clubhouse overlooking the lake. The luxurious exercise center is open 24 hours a day and could give L.A. Fitness a run for its money. The lake has a small beach area, and children have their own splash zone with a playground. There is even an activity director who coordinates events such as toddler care, food truck visits, doughnut baking classes, card tournaments, and more.
As previously mentioned, the mixed zoning of Trevesta Palmetto allows for commercial development, so homeowners will probably get their own shopping center in the near future. In the meantime, you have the new Publix supermarket with its fancy deli just two miles north at the Gateway Commons shopping center. Driving to St. Petersburg Beach will take you the same as driving to Holmes Beach near Bradenton, about 40 minutes.
