Summerwoods in Parrish : Homes for Sale at Reasonable Prices

With all the new construction projects currently underway in Parrish, it stands to reason that home prices in this part of Manatee County are bound to rise. Recently developed by award-winning builder M/I Homes, Summerwoods is a gated community located in a section of Parrish that has retained its low density. Unlike other new communities that sit very close to Highway 301, Summerwoods is north of Erie Road and east of the Buffalo Creek Golf Course, thus offering less traffic and more privacy. The single-family homes in this neighborhood are not only larger than what you commonly see closer to Bradenton; they also have a different curb appeal.

The architectural style at Summerwoods is very attractive because it borrows just a few elements of Mediterranean revival design and mixes them with a modern interpretation of Key West homes. The result is more American than European, and it makes up for great-looking residences. Floor plans start with three bedrooms and two bathrooms built on 1,530 square feet of living space, but you can go all the way up to four bedrooms and three full bathrooms on a two-level plan with more than 2,300 square feet of interior.

Pricing at Summerwoods in late 2019 starts under $241K for a three-bedroom home. Even the larger two-story models with four bedrooms are priced lower than the median price in Parrish. Keep in mind that these are all homes completed in 2019, which means that even the kitchen appliances are still under warranty. These prices will likely increase after the holidays, so you may want to act quickly.

Summerwoods has the type of amenities you can find in Lakewood Ranch: a swimming pool, playground, clubhouse, and walking trails. Driving to the shopping centers at Silver Leaf and Creekside Commons will only take you a few minutes, but the latter offers a new Publix with the large European-style deli that feels like a restaurant in the middle of the store. The beaches of Anna Maria Island are conveniently located less than an hour away, perfect for weekend trips.
