Although there are hundreds of single-family residences and maintenance-free villas in the various sections of Center Gate, you will only find a few listings available at any given time. The Centergate Plaza shopping district is another reason this subdivision remains popular year after year. Located on the northeast corner of Center Gate, this shopping center features a Publix supermarket, Walgreens and Bealls Outlet. Just across the road from Centergate Plaza is the Bee Ridge Square shopping center, which offers a Walmart, Home Depot, L.A. Fitness gym, and Burlington store. Nearby family attractions include Urfer Park and the Sky Zone Trampoline Park. Driving from Center Gate to either Siesta Key Beach or Downtown Sarasota takes less than 30 minutes.
