Located a couple of miles east of I-75 and behind the greens of the Heritage Oaks Country Club, Secluded Oaks in Sarasota is an elegant community where you can find very large single-family residences starting at less than $437K.
In this residential enclave of just 98 properties, some of the lots are larger than 19,000 square feet. The predominant architectural style is Mediterranean revival, and the smaller three-bedroom homes are built on more than 2,000 square feet of interior; some of the most well-appointed properties were developed by luxury home builder Arthur Rutenberg. The sense of seclusion in this community is augmented by the single access road and the large greenbelt sections near a central lake.
As of May 2019, pricing at Secluded Oaks started at $437K for a four-bedroom home with three full bathrooms and 2,532 square feet of living space. This is a home that includes features such as a garden tub, water filtration system, covered lanai, and a screened swimming pool. A similar home closer to the main lake was listed for $459K. Even better deals can be evaluated when three-bedroom homes are listed, but they tend to sell very fast.
Aside from being a very private and pretty neighborhood that is perfect for families, Secluded Oaks also enjoys a privileged location. Rothenbach Park is just a bike ride away, and it offers miles of nature trails plus picnic areas. Bee Ridge Plaza is just across the road from the park, and this is where you can find a Publix supermarket. Bee Ridge Road can take you to the beach at Siesta Key in about 15 minutes, and you are also close enough to visit the Myakka River State Park on a daily basis.
